Some Components of Fitness that Jake Ashton will select, and improve you on:

Muscular Strength
Muscular Strength, the muscles maximal force that can be produced measure usually in a 1RM test. A vital component of fitness that enhances the support/stability of movement, power of movement, and drive of movement. This contributes to an increase of effectiveness during specific movement patterns of which are dependent on stability, drive of movement, or power of movement.

Muscular endurance
Muscular endurance, the muscles ability to repeatedly contract. A vital aspect of fitness that enhances specific movement patterns that are dependent on endurance; how long and at the fastest speed of which the movement pattern can repeatedly be used without fatigue. This contributes to bringing the advantage of being quicker, which for some sports its all about who can finish in the shortest time.

Aerobic endurance
The bodies ability to continously produce movement with the presence of oxygen, this is measured as a VO2 Max. A vital component of fitness that allows someone to continuously produce movement without fatigue. It fuels the muscles ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate, the only form of usable energy) via aerobic system when heart rate is 60% – 85% of the bodies maximum heart rate.

Anaerobic endurance
The bodies ability to forcefully produce movement without the presence of oxygen. The point of which glucose is broken down by phosphofuctrokinase, and is converted into pyruvic acid. This is broken down by Lactose Dehydrogenase which forms lactic acid. Lactic acid lowers pH into acidosis due to accumlation of Hydrogen ions (weakens digestion effectivness so less energy is brought to the muscle), cell membrane excitbility (less action potential), ATP production interference, and metablite buildup. This progressively causes OBLA

Agility
Agility is the ability to change directions quickly without loose of balance or control. A vital component of fitness that make its harder to predict the performers next move, harder to react to the movement pattern, and challenging the opponents fitness. Agility is predominantly supported for its ability by speed, strength, power, balance (proprioception), and coordination. Click here to dive into our personal training to receive effective training schedules and programmes that not only enhances speed, but the relevant movement patterns that need agility the most.

Speed
The quickness of which a limb or multiple limbs travel during movement. A vital component of fitness to enhance the effectiveness of movement patterns within a sport to elevate performance. Speed is prodominantly fueled by the ATP-PC system where adenosine triphosphate and phophocreatine are intricately assembled to energize the muscles for explosive power. Click here to dive into our personal training to receive effective training schedules and programmes that not only enhances speed, but the relevant movement patterns.

Reaction time
Reaction time is the time taken to respond to an external stimulus. Reaction time contributes to the success of movement patterns being used within a sport. Dive in with the specialized drills that simulate the conditions of your sport.

Power
Power is ones ability to explode during movement using both strength and spend, hence its equation being, “Strength x Speed = Power”, Power is generated predominantly from the type 2x muscle fibers, and type 2a muscle fibers.

Balance and proprioception
Balance and proprioception is the ability to sense movement and counteract opposing forces to maintain stability in a position. Balance and proprioception is essential for ensuring a position is maintained, so a specific movement can be performed.
Jake Ashton’s Work Experience:
Sporting 87 Trust Football Club:
Jake Ashton’s Journey with Sporting 87 Trust Football Club Began with a conversation with Darren Brown who adminster’s the Club. Within these 46 hours I completed; 1 Hour at Victory Ground + 1-3 Hours of Futsal Competition, 4 Hours at Ixworth Primary School on Wednesday, Thursday 1 Hour at Skyliner Sport’s Centre, and Friday 1 Hour at Skyliner Sport’s Centre + 1 Hour at their Astroturf. I completed this every week until 46 hours were completed. I still work for this club.
Within these hours of work experience I refined, and expanded my skills on learning individual needs, and adapting accordingly. I was working with groups of all different age’s where my social skills were constantly challenged, and I transitioned seamlessly. I observed coaches, and analysing their approaches to conflict resolutions, adaptability, and routines where I picked up healthy behaviours I practised applying.
I took opportunities of Leadership, and learned the very importance of delivery, structure, and adaptability. A brilliant nofitication I’ve taken advantage of to practice over, and over again so my Personal training is seamless. Jake Ashton will say that this is an excellent club for age groups, and young people for completing work experience. It’s inspiration how they’ve got something for everyone, and fuels me with eagerness to apply the same approach to PT.

Overall, just the workplace for Sporting 87 Trust, it is a fantastic place for everyone. There’s someone for everyone, and if you want to improve your health, and fitness you can successfully improve it with some fun, and friendly competition. It’s great for meeting new friends who want to have a laugh, but take the game seriously too!

Jake Ashton has a series dedication that will profit anyone and anything he dedicates his time to, and for.
Jake Ashton’s Work Experience with Howard Community Academy:
At Howard Academy Community my Journey began here at the age of 4, but this was not Work Experience. This was the Primary School I was brought up by. I was here until Year 6, and the Moved to King Edward’s High School. As I got older I applied for Sport’s and Exercise Science L3 at West Suffolk College. This was then when I started working here.
I applied here as a Sport’s Assistance Coach. I began the first month or so Full time working all day once a week. Then because of status quo, the Head Teacher mentioned it made more sense to only come in for an hour, so I then turned up for an hour each week. I would come in each day assisting during sporting activity’s whether that was constructing a game, a session, or regulating a game. I had many opportunities that I took, and made the most of.
There was a lot of conflict resolution I had to solve quickly as young minds become hypervigilant during disagreements, lack self-awareness, and self-control. With this understanding, the management of situation’s came with ease because I would identify the root cause of the problem, and come up with a solution. If I see a particular individual constantly in conflict, I would then give a gentle push about working on self-awareness, and self-control. It resulted with success! I have learned a lot with my experience during coaching assistance, and has improved my delivery skills, and adaptability. This experience not only deepened my passion for sports and coaching but also significantly enhanced my problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Coordination
Coordination refers to ability to perform a motor movement. The factors of coordination are; the cerebellum, memory, practice, and muscle quality. These factors impact the outcome of coordination. Coordination effects the integrity of a movement pattern, and the degree to which its smoothness, and correct form is applied. This can be essential to establish.

Body Composition
Body composition is anthropometric measure of an individual. Typically, somatotype assessment utilize anthropometric measurements to categorize individuals as; mesomorphs, ectomorphs, and endomorphs to accurately predict sporting performance, health, and fitness. Heath-Carter somatotype testing ®, developed by J.E Lindsay Carter ™, is an accurate methodology of body compositions. During anthropometric assessments, especially for component complexity, methodologies widely recognized as; hydrodensitometry, bioelectrical impedance analysis, Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry, and many more will be essential for accurate somatotype testing

Flexbility
Flexibility is the individual’s maximum degree of angle within a joint that can be achieved. Flexibility is essential for ensuring joints can reach the degree of angle necessary to perform specific movement that require that demand. Flexibility is best trained in Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation rehabilitation, but requires a specialist for safe and effective usage. By Jake Ashton.
